It has been a very busy spring here at True North Cycles. Here are a few of the bikes that have left the shop recently. Photos are posted more frequently at https://www.facebook.com/truenorthcycles
Keith just picked up his new S+S coupled touring bike. It was built to utilize a belt driven Rohloff 14 speed internal hub. He went with a red anodized hub to match the Schmidt dyno hub and Edelux light.
I have been building about 40% titanium bikes so far this year. Here is Gerald’s new titanium road rocket! It is equipped with a Campy Chorus Road group. The wheels are a pair of sweet looking Chris King R45 road hubs laced to Stans Alpha 340 road rims.
This is Paul’s new titanium road bike. This bike is quite versatile with the couplers , rack/fender eyelets, and also a Wound Up LR fork. This fork is specific to long reach road calipers which will allow fenders and a 700x32c width tire. The bike also has a Tubus Airy titanium rack.
John treated himself to a bike that fits! He is close to 6′ 10″ tall. This was a really nice looking bike. The super mirror orange powder coat and dark grey Ultegra group look great together.
This is Christian’s new road bike. This is the same colour as John’s but I added a good dose of copper pearl into the clear coat. The pearl really pops in the sunlight. This could be one of my favourite colours. This bike is also set up with Hutchinson tubeless tires. Setting up a road bike with tubeless tires is much less work than a mountain bike. It only takes a 2-3 minutes to install the tire and add the sealant.
